Family is moving in November! There is 1 week left to find a foster or forever home for Sydney. Sydney is a beautiful blue eyed 3 year old Australian Shepherd. Sydney's family is moving and can't take her with them. Sydney is good with children. She has not been socialized with other dogs, and therefore, has not been appropriate on her few introductions to other canines. The trainer who evaluated her believes this could be overcome in the hands of the right owner. Sydney is not destructive and is housetrained. Sydney needs work walking on a leash--but her owner's seldom walk her--she'll catch on fast with patience and practice. She has been trained to stay in her area with an underground fence system. She is eager for attention and will sit on command. Sydney takes treats very nicely. She was trained to not enter rooms in her home that have carpet. Sydney is a very intelligent dog with a tremendous amount of potential. She has great focus and learned to jump through a Hoola Hoop in minutes. She needs a home that has time to work on her innate abilities. She is VERY friendly toward people and is actually a bit submissive, rolls over to have her belly rubbed. Won't you consider giving this sweet girl a forever loving home?????
