Maximus is a wire haired Jack Russel Terrier. He is 10 years old and has spent most of his life chained up outside. Max has been completely vetted and has been neutered. He is a sweet, cute little guy who deserves to love, comfort, and attention for the rest of his life. He was found to have a heart murmur when he was vetted, but he came through his neutering just fine. Won't you consider giving this poor little guy a loving home for the rest of his life.
Ask someone who has taken a dog from a life on a chain. They will tell you that in most instances that dog is forever grateful. They are not difficult to housetrain as one would assume--in fact, many times they appear to be housetrained from the start.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
