Keeper, a 6 year old neutered Border Collie comes to us as a recent victim of the flood that has devastated our area. Keeper's family, sadly, lost everything. They are unable to have Keeper where they are living since the flood. This is what his owner has to say about Keeper: He came to us from the SPCA when he was a puppy. He is smart, obedient and always eager to please. He is house-broken, leash-trained and barks rarely. He currently lives with children, cats and other dogs. He loves to "work", so exercise and an area to run daily would be needed. He prefers to be outside watching the world go by. Keeper weighs 45 pounds, his back is 24" from the ground when he stands on all fours and he has no chronic health issues. Keeper's family is extremely sad to give him up, but know they have to do what is best for him at this difficult time. He will make an active loving family a wonderful companion.
