Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Keeper, a 6 year old neutered Border Collie comes to us as a recent victim of the flood that has devastated our area.  Keeper's family, sadly, lost everything.  They are unable to have Keeper where they are living since the flood.  

This is what his owner has to say about Keeper:  He came to us from the SPCA when he was a puppy.  He is smart, obedient and always eager to please.  He is house-broken, leash-trained and barks rarely.  He currently lives with children, cats and other dogs.  He loves to "work", so exercise and an area to run daily would be needed.  He prefers to be outside watching the world go by.  Keeper weighs 45 pounds, his back is 24" from the ground when he stands on all fours and he has no chronic health issues. 

Keeper's family is extremely sad to give him up, but know they have to do what is best for him at this difficult time.  He will make an active loving family a wonderful companion.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
