Born on November 17, 2024, Aquarius came to us having living OUTSIDE on a farm with her Mom and siblings. No clue what a home was, she was absolutely terrified of everything. However, by the end of her first day, she worked up the courage to wag her tail and tiptoe over to say hello.

She eyed the strange objects on the floor (also known as puppy toys) as if they might bite her, but she’s quickly figuring things out—stuffed animals and crinkly toys are already her favorites. Each day, she grows a little braver and a little sassier, especially when she’s looking for attention!

She fits right in with her foster mom’s two german shepherds and one small dog and isn’t bothered by the cat at all. In fact, she’s perfectly content stretching out on the cat bed—sometimes with the cat still in it!

Just a baby, Aquarius is still working on potty training, but she’s catching on fast. She follows the big dogs outside, takes care of business like a pro, and trots right back inside when she’s done.

Smart, sweet, and blossoming more each day, Aquarius is well on her way to becoming the perfect addition to a loving home!

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR OUR FLUFFY

We can't guarantee Aquarius' Parentage.

BREED :  Mother appears to be a Border Collie. His absentee Dad is assumed to be a lab/husky mix.

SIZE:   We can NOT predict the size of these dogs.  Safe to say – 40-60 lbs.  Please don’t apply if size is a factor in your decision.  Our goal is to never have to re-home our dogs—especially because they didn’t grow to expectations.

THEY POOP AND PEE A LOT:  Be prepared.
Typically, a puppy can control their bladder one hour for every month of age. So if your puppy is 2 months old, they can hold it for about two hours. Don't go longer than this between bathroom breaks or they're likely to have an accident.

SHE WILL SHED A LOT; DO YOU HAVE A GOOD SWEEPER

IF you work away from home—you will need a patient care giver for your new addition in your absence.

Aquarius absolutely need training, exercise, and commitment to grooming.

This fluffy pup can give the right owner many wonderful years of companionship and love; but it will be a full time commitment.

It is the responsibility of puppy adopters to continue and complete the puppy shot/maintenance protocols.  These pups have had their first puppy shot and are dewormed (you may have to continue follow up on deworming).

Puppies will need at least two more boosters and a rabies vaccine in the coming weeks with boosters again yearly.  Your vet may recommend other vaccines in the future; such as lyme, influenza etc.

You MUST sign a contract agreeing to have your puppy spayed/neutered at an age recommended by your veterinarian.  You must provide Haven to Home with proof of SPAY/NEUTER at an agreed upon date in the future.

ASK yourself:

  • Can I afford to have my puppy spayed/neutered?
  • This dog may live to be 15-20 years old. Do I really want to make this possible lifetime commitment?
  • If my pet gets sick or injured can I afford the medical treatment? (In some cases this could be for the duration of my pet's life.)
  • Am I home enough to give this pet the proper attention and training that it needs?
  • What will I do with the dog if we go away on vacation?
  • Can I afford the adoption fee?
  • Can I afford the cost of monthly flea and heartworm preventative?

If you are STILL interested in adopting one of our pups :) please submit an application.  Our rescue dogs are placed in homes based on the best possible match for dog and human.
