Fluffy and Cuddly and Incredibly Sweet

Roxanne ("Roxy") is a 18 month old female American Eskimo who has spent her entire life in a cage prior to coming to our rescue.  She's been learning so much since she came to us but still needs some work. Despite needing some skills, she's incredibly sweet and loves everyone.

Her favorite things are: cheese, stuffed toys, chicken feet, and belly rubs.

Her least favorite things: loud noises, being left out of the fun, NOT being petted, and peanut butter.

Roxy is full of sass and spunk, and she is the proverbial velcro dog. She does well with dogs larger than her but she can be a bit selective with dogs her size. She prefers dogs that are calmer and give her space - don't worry she's got enough energy!  She is great with cats and wasn't even the least bit concerned upon meeting a cat face to face. If the cat runs, however, it's GAME ON!

Roxy should be okay with dog-savvy kids; no toddlers or screaming kids. She is still working on housetraining. She will go outside if taken out often. Roxy is also very good on leash. A crate is recommended for when she is left alone.  Roxy is smart; She will do her best to outwit you and keep you on your toes!

This pretty girl nees someone who will be patient--it takes her time to trust people.  Because of her insecurities, Roxy needs a friendly companion dog and a fenced yard.

This little fluffball will need someone with experience who will be committed to training and exercising her.  If you feel that you are up to that task, she has a lot of love and cuddles to give you.
