What Is a Sponsorship Dog?

A Sponsorship Dog is a beloved dog who, due to age, medical condition, or special needs, will remain in a dedicated and compassionate foster home for the rest of their life. These dogs are not available for adoption but continue to receive love, stability, and expert care through our sponsorship program.

Haven to Home Canine Rescue, Inc. (H2H) covers all veterinary expenses and provides for the dog’s ongoing needs, including food, grooming, and other essentials.

We welcome and deeply appreciate donations to support the lifelong care of these special dogs. Contributions can be made as a one-time gift or as a recurring donation—every dollar makes a difference in ensuring these dogs live out their lives in comfort and dignity.

If you would like to help defray April's expenses, donations can be made via:

April, May and June are 14-year old sisters who have never been apart.  For their emotional and physical well-being H2H felt they needed to remain together.  Unfortunately, h2h could not find an adopter willing to take on three elderly girls.  They are with a loving committed foster in sponsorship. Their foster mom says they are easy to care for and get along with other dogs in the household.  All are up to date with vaccines, spayed, and will have had dentals before adoption.  Flea/Tick/Heartworm monthly preventatives are being given.

The girls have had ear infections and some growths removed as well as having dentals done.  They also require grooming every 6-8 weeks; so you can imagine it has been expensive to maintain their comfort.
