Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Memphis is a 5 year old boxer.  His family moved out of state and he could not go along. He is looking for a boxer loving home where he can fulfill his duty of alerting when the doorbell rings. He has good manners and will not jump when the door is opened.  He knows sit, shake, stay and come and is very fond of belly rubs.  His  pay back for belly rubs is slobbery boxer kisses.

Memphis is not fond of being crated or closed in a room alone, but he is fine with and respectful of baby gates. His foster mom says that he is a sweet dog who is eager to please and listens well. 

He has lived with older children (but, not younger ones) and is fine with other dogs.  Memphis is working on improving his leash walking skills and he loves to play Frisbee.  

There is a cat in his foster home, but it's a scaredy cat and hides out a lot. Memphis has seen her twice and doesn't seem to care about her, no sniffying or chasing.

He was just neutered and is now ready to go to his forever home.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
