Ruger is a 2 year old Beagle/Shepherd mix. He is super friendly and is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He is house and obedience trained.
He would make an awesome jogging/hiking partner and he would make a great agility or fly ball dog as you can see by the video. This is a dog that should not be passed by as he is just about perfect for a young active family. Please won't you give him a forever home as through no fault of his own lost his family who was unable to care for him any longer.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
