Rocky is a 9 month old Great Dane ready for his forever home. He is a giant fellow with a giant personality. He loves to play with other dogs, but would do best in a home with bigger dogs because he doesn't realize his strength and that stepping on the little dogs hurts them. He is OK with kids, but again he would do better with kids big enough to handle his play. Rocky likes to bath the kittens that will stand there and let him and for those who run he will give chase, but hasn't purposely hurt any of them yet.
11/11/13 - Still accepting applications as we are searching for just the right home for him. A dog trainer was consulted and we are looking for a home with large breed experience and a firm leader. We also feel that he should go to a home with no small children or small dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
