Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
Midnight is a female, spayed, black lab mix. She is approximately 8 years old. This sweet girl was rescued from a home where she and other cats and dogs had been abandoned. Despite her sad situation, this girl is one of the sweetest gals. Her sad eyes just say, "take me home and love me forever". Midnight is doing well in foster care and enjoys the company of other canines. She has settled in and initiates play with the other dogs. Because of living with very little food for a long period, our Midnight does tend to try a little countersurfing from time to time, but she has not been found to be food aggressive. Because of her poor living condition and poor diet--her skin and coat need some TLC. She has been in foster care since 12/28/2012 and her coat and skin condition are already improving with good food and gentle baths. Soon she will be as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. This girl has a loving heart and her eyes are so expressive. Midnight would enjoy a home with other friendly dogs or at least a home where she gets lots of attention because she has a lot of love to give. She is quite active for 8 years old--so don't be put off by her age. She may need a little leash training--but she is very willing to please. Midnight is housetrained and ready to be loved by YOU.
