Sunny is a 9 year old neutered male cockapoo.  He needs to be rehomed because his owner is in poor health and has to move to a first floor facility and can't take Sunny.  Sunny loves his special toys and carries them to company proudly.  He is very sweet and mild mannered.  Sunny is housetrained, but not crate trained.  He is used to sleeping in bed with his Mom.  Sunny has no known destructive behaviors, no bite history, or any aggressive behaviors.   He has had no formal training, but he listens well to his owners. He seems fine with other dogs and did fine with a cat. Sunny loves to go for rides in the car and for walks. He is used to going everywhere with his family. Sunny is hoping that you will heal is sad heart by giving him a loving home for the rest of his life.

11/5/2012 Sunny recently had a dental cleaning (no extractions needed!) and because he has a known heart murmur, he also had a senior panel (blood work) done.  The senior panel was normal, all organs looking good.  The vet said with good diet, moderate exercise and keeping the teeth clean (dental chews and no wet food) it could stay that way for the rest of his life.  Sunny does not have heart disease.

He is doing well in a multi dog foster home, but wants a forever home of his very own.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
