Rocky is a 4 year old boxer. He is a big, handsome, well behaved 98 lb boy. Rocky has lived with a child, other dogs, and is good with the cat at grandma's house. He walks well on leash, is housebroken, and doesn't need to be crated when home alone. Rocky is also good off leash and is a stay-around-dog. He sleeps on the recliner until dad leaves for work, then he likes to crawl under the covers and cuddle with mom. He enjoys handouts from the little boy in the home, but doesn't beg or counter surf and he loves car rides. Rocky's family loves him, but the family is growing and there isn't room for him anymore. They are sad to give up this great dog, but want a home where he will get the attention that he has been accustomed to.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
