Sophie is a 3 year old female purebred St. Bernard. She is housetrained, good with other dogs and good with kids. She weighs a little over 100lbs, so she is not as large as one might think when they think of a St. Bernard. Sophie walks nicely on a leash and will be spayed and brought up to date on vaccinations before adoption.
Sophie has lived with the black male retriever pictured since she was a puppy. Due to human family circumstances, a new home is needed for Sophie. (He is being adopted by another family member.) Sophie would do best in a home where she will have another canine companion. Both dogs were, gentle, friendly, not-barky, and were well behaved when H2H volunteers went to meet them.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
