Can you please take me home and love me? I really am a good boy. Even though I am only a little over a year old, I don’t need a lot of exercise, I go potty outside and I promise I will just hang out with you and be your best friend.

Hi, my name is Blue. One day I found myself all alone in the country. I saw a school bus and was hoping it was my kids coming to get me but it wasn't so I left. The next day there was no bus, but there was a house that had kids in it with a big front porch so I went up on the porch and waited for someone to let me in, but nobody did. I watched the family come and go all day and wagged my tail when I saw them, but they still weren't sure about me since they didn't know me. Then this lady came to take me away, but I was a little scared at first. She seemed nice and was giving me yummy treats, but I still wasn't sure I wanted to go anywhere yet. After a little bit a little boy came running out and I got really happy and thought everything would be OK. So, I let them put a leash on me and we walked around the yard then we went for a ride in the van which I really like doing.

They took me to the vet where they got rid of my fleas, gave me all the shots I needed and neutered me. I stayed there for a long time, because I didn’t have anywhere to go. I really didn’t like it there and spending time with all those other dogs around upset me quite a bit. Then the lady came back and took me for another ride. This time she took me for a nice long walk which I really liked. I don’t have to walk fast, I really just like to take my time and smell all the nifty smells on the ground. Then she took me to a kennel where I am all alone again so I don’t have to be stressed out by the other doggies. But the lady with the van and a couple of other ladies come and get me out and take me for long strolls a couple of times a day and give me food and water and scratch my back for a little while. They tell me all the time they are trying really hard to find me a forever home where I can be happy for the rest of my life or even a foster home where I can be comfortable until my forever family is found. If you don’t have any other doggies, I would love to come home with you and show you what a wonderful boy I can be. Won’t you please consider fostering or adopting me?
