Rudy and his companion Holly were found as strays. They were running in the woods during hunting season. Hunters found them sleeping cuddled with one another by the side of the road one morning.
Rudy, a handsome shepherd mix, is approximately 1 year old, 45 lbs, and a sweet dog. Though he has some of the young dog energy he mostly wants to be with people. He enjoys the company of other dogs, plays nicely, and is careful of dogs smaller than he is. He has learned some basic commands and his foster family is working on improving his leash walking. He is very affectionate and likes attention. He is living in a foster home with two smaller dogs and a cat. His foster mom says is a laid back, easy going dog. This is a great testimonial for a dog Rudy's age! Rudy is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and screenings. He rides well in the car and enjoys cuddles and head or belly scratches. Rudy will make some lucky family a wonder pet and companion!!

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
