Jackson is a 4 year old gorgeous Male Australian Shepherd. Sadly his owners need to rehome Jackson because he does not get along with the other male dog in the home. He is a great dog; he gets along with all female dogs and he is great with cats. Because of his breed, it is recommended he not be adopted into a family with small children. He has lived with toddlers and never had an incident but the children were very respectful of the dog's space. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, on frontline and heartworm preventative. He is crate trained and good with people. He is very playful and high energy. He likes to be anywhere where he is with people. He also is good with horses and goats. Jackson is really a sweet boy, he just needs to be in the right home without male dogs. He LOVES to run and be free. He won’t run off, he will stay with kids or anyone who is with him. A 4 foot fence will not hold him - he jumps it with ease! BUT...he will only jump the fence if the kids are outside playing or if someone else is outside the fence. He only jumps a fence to be near people.
Jackson will make an awesome companion for the right person or family.
