Jordan is an 8 month old female black lab mix. She looks very much like a lab; her mother is a pure chocolate lab and her father is a chow/beagle mix. Jordan is spayed, up to date with vaccines, on heartworm prevention and flea control. Jordan lives with a male dog and does well; she seems to have issues with other female dogs, but we believe that this may be on a case by case basis and can be overcome with more training and structure. She gets along with cats, and is good with children. She in known to play rough with kittens, but does fine with adult cats. Jordan is crate trained and has gone to some basic obedience classes with a professional trainer. Her owner worked at a personal care home and often took Jordan along to work. She made a wonderful therapy dog and would no doubt do very well if her new owner wants to continue therapy dog training. Jordan is very sweet and willing to please. Because she is young she is energetic and can play rough although she is not an aggressive pup. Her owner says she has been known to chase the neighbor's chickens which has made the neighbor very unhappy. Jordan will make a wonderful companion for an active individual or family.
