Pug : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Small
Stanley is a 7 year old pug. He weighs about 25lbs but needs to lose about 7 or 8 pounds. He is very friendly and likes attention from people he is familiar with as well as strangers. He is not a very active dog. He has been neutered and had additional testing done to rule out any medical conditions that may be causing his in house marking. After all tests came back negative, the thought is that he may be marking his home out of fear/protection in his home which he shares with an unneutered male pit bull, and 2 large dominate breed females. He is by far the smallest and weakest in the house, so this may be his way of saying to the other dogs “don’t mess with me”. He does not pee in his crate. He never defecates in the house, only urinates. Other than the problem with urinating in the house, his owner says he is a wonderful dog.
