Hello All - My name is Stormy. I am a really nice, calm well behaved young man but boy could I use a diet and some exercise! I am only 2 1/2 years old, completely housebroken, crate trained, obedience trained, nondestructive, neutered and just a good guy. I weigh 36 lbs according to the Vet's scale which is about 12-15 lbs. more than I should weigh. I am up to date on all my shots and tested negative for heartworm and lymes. I am on heartworm preventative every month and also advantix for fleas and ticks. I am not really fond of toys or playing ball but I can't wait to get outside and be with the neighbor's kids!! Oh boy, I even run - well not very fast to see them in hopes they will hug me and play with me. I walk well on a leash and love to ride in the car. I have my own little wire crate inside the house with the door always open and a nice soft pillow in there for me. I spend a lot of time in there resting because I am so overweight and have no one to play with me. My dad is very sick and will not be getting better so he needs a lot of care and attention from mom. She does not have time to walk me very often and then only until I do my outside pottying. Mom and Dad love me, but with Dad so sick they just don't have time to take care of me right now. My life is overall pretty boring so I eat and sleep quite a bit. I only have one small problem and that is some of the hair on my body has come off but is now coming back. The Vet told my Mom to stop washing me so often as she really likes me to be nice and clean. I would really be happy with a new family who would love me, feed me a nutritious doggy diet, give me only low calorie treats, and more exercise. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and I love kids.
I am now in a foster home where I have cat and dog company, as well as nice people who are paying a lot of attention to me.
