Meet Lila Day! This adorable 15-pound Schnauzer was born on September 4, 2019, and is as charming as they come. If she looks a little familiar, imagine the classic Monopoly dog (though a different breed) brought to life—only softer, warmer, and even more lovable!

Lila Day’s early years were spent as a breeder, but despite her past, she holds no grudges. In fact, she adores people and can’t get enough love and attention! She’s indifferent to cats (and they feel the same about her) and has shown a calm, accepting nature toward children and new people when properly introduced.

She’s been busy learning new skills, like using stairs and a doggie door, and is making great progress with leash walking and house manners. Surprisingly, for a pup who had never been on a car ride, she quickly discovered she enjoys traveling—whether lounging calmly in the passenger seat or snuggled in a lap.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
