With her big black eyes, adorable button nose, perfect wrinkles, tiny ears, and super-soft, plush coat, Ashley might remind you of a stuffed toy come to life! But as charming as she is on the outside, she’s even sweeter on the inside.

Ashley is a 5½-year-old fawn pug who spent the early years of her life in a barn, used for breeding. Thankfully, Haven to Home Canine Rescue stepped in, and Ashley is now experiencing the joys of being a cherished pet. She’s discovering the fun of car rides and is learning to walk on a leash. A true cuddle enthusiast, Ashley is happy to snuggle up on the couch with men, women, or gentle children. 

She did well with cats during her assessment, showing little interest in them, and has seamlessly blended into her current pack of six dogs (big, small, male, and female) without any issues. Remarkably, Ashley has also been clean in the house! 

Ashley dreams of finding a forever home where she can be the center of attention and “earn her keep” as someone’s loyal best friend. This little girl is truly a treasure in every sense of the word.

Ashley will is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and will be ready to shower you with love by mid-January!

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
