Jonty is a young Red Merle Australian Shepherd, around 1 year old and about 40 lbs. He is an unclaimed stray who was found with injuries that appeared to have been from another animal. He is undergoing treatment for them and appears to be none the worse for wear. He is healing quickly.

He is very friendly to both people and dogs and has been around children. He is being boarded in a kennel, but seems to be housebroken. He'll be neutered in a few weeks after he is fully healed from his injuries and then will be ready for an active family that will stimulate his intelligence and enjoy training him. He shows all of the signs of being a very loyal dog.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
