Hound / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
Bonnie is a sweet hound mix who has spent her entire life in the shelter system. Don’t let her troubled past fool you as Bonnie is quite the girl. She was chosen by some guardian angels to enroll in a Canine Good Citizen Training Course which she has completed with flying colors. Her foster mom says she truly knows her manners. After a long freedom ride, Bonnie has found her way to a fresh start and is now on her search for her perfect family. Bonnie is house trained, non-destructive and knows many commands like sit, shake and down. She enjoys toys (playing ball and frisbee are among her favorites), cuddling on the couch and just generally being with her people. Bonnie has medium energy so she is looking for a family that will invest in play time and walks in her daily routine. With a little training, we think she could even make a great running partner. Bonnie is dog and cat friendly, but does enjoy keeping her toys all to herself. Kids over 10 years of age are recommended. Overall, Bonnie is the total package and would make a great addition to any home. Bonnie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
