I am Bristol, I'm 8 months old. I'm supposed to be an English Springer Spaniel, but a lady who had English Setters told me I look like a mix of the 2. She also said I have the softest coat! I have to find a new home because of some people allergies at my old house (I made mom sneeze). I am healthy, have been to the vet for shots and tests and just got snipped (ouchyou know what I mean!) I have good manners, take treats without grabbing and dont mind sharing food. I am nice to people of all ages, and other dogs, and I don't pay one bit of attention to cats. I wanna do what my person wants me to; some human said thats called eager to please, called me kind and amiable too. I might be a little nervous of new situations and people, but I dont take long to warm up and get over it. I like to play and chase stuff so I need a home where I can get lots of exercise. I learn fast and am learning to walk on leash without pulling. If you have good doggie leadership qualities, I would love to follow you. If you can keep me focused and teach me lots of cool new stuff, maybe go to obedience classes, I promise to learn fast and show you what eager-to-please is all about. Foster Mom Says: He is a sweet boy who loves attention from anyone who looks at him. He settled in very quickly. He has a ton of energy, even after just being neutered, and pulls and jumps when you first take him out but he settles down fairly quickly and gets to work. He talked to all of the neighbor dogs last night and then quieted down and has been quiet ever since. He loves the pugs high energy (I think he thinks they are little play toys - but he is very gentle), and he loves all of his toys which came with him (esp. the Jimmy Cricket stuffed doll). He will make someone a great dog as long as they spend time making him listen and give him LOTS of exercise.
