My name is Kelly. I am a 9 month old Chihuahua mix. My foster Mom says I remind her of a tiny sheltie. Initially, I am shy with humans, but I warm up quickly. Once I know someone, I am on "affection overdrive". I am a very happy girl. I do prefer dogs close to my own size, but I can live with other friendly, kind dogs. I know that I'm supposed to go outside to the bathroom, but sometimes I make a mistake. My Mom says I need an owner who will put me on a schedule and help me remember to "go outside".

I can be a little "bossy" if other dogs get near my food--but I'm okay with my humans.

I am up to date with vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. I am waiting patiently for my forever home. I was given away when I was a baby, and that family sent me back a few months later. I am a good puppy -- so I don't understand why? I long for a home with someone who will love and commit to me FOREVER!

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
