Brutus is certainly 10 years young. He has a pep in his step on his daily walks, will dance for treats, and is always ready for some good pets. Car rides are another favorite past time for Brutus. His ultimate love is laying on the couch with his human by his side. Brutus has gotten along well with the active resident canines in his foster home, but he will need to meet any future dog siblings. It may be he will do better with a female companion as he has always lived with female dogs. But for now, he is with three other canines of both genders. Brutus is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors when given free reign of the house for a few short trial periods while his foster family is out of the house. Although initially anxious, he’s gaining confidence and it’s been a joy to see his personality blossum. He is a happy boy and is eager to please his humans. He is a super cuddly pup also enjoys some play time with his foster companions. He is not the biggest fan of cats but has spent some time getting acquainted with a dog savvy kitty. Little dogs or little children who may crawl on him are not high on his list of "likes". He enjoys Greek Yogurt or some wet food as a treat on top of his dry food. Being brushed is one of his favorites--he is content to be brushed as long as your arm will hold out. Won't you consider giving Brutus a comfortable loving home for his senior years?
