Tiny, cuddly, and downright adorable--That's our Riva!

Riva is a 9 lb. chihuahua/min pin who is approximately 2 years old.  She was abandoned by her original family when they were evicted from their home. Riva is living the life now in foster. She hopes her forever home will have a lot of blankets under which to cuddle and an owner who will appreciate having his/her feet warmed at night.

Riva's original home had an assortment of animals; in her current foster she enjoys the company of 3 large and laid back foster dog siblings. She has been exposed to cats and did extremely well. She's interested in kids; because she is tiny and fragile we are asking for a home without toddlers who may accidentally hurt her. She is housetrained but DOES NEED to be taken out every 4 hrs.  She walks like a dream on leash and greets strangers nicely.

While Riva does not fit the stereotype of "yappy ankle biter", as she is very sweet, quiet, and shy, she will need an owner committed to socializing, training, and building her confidence. Riva loves training time with her foster. She is wicked smart!
