Shea is just the sweetest 8 month old beagle/border collie mix. She is wonderful with adults, kids, dogs and cats. Shea is the perfect companion. Shea lived with six children who loved her. Her owners gave her up because they live near a very busy street and were worried that she would be injured.

She is a little anxious in new situations and would be a flight risk if off leash at this point.

A physical fence will be required to adopt Shea.

Shea is currently living with multiple dogs and cats. This sweet girl has shown no signs of toy or food aggression with humans or other dogs.

Won’t you consider making Shea your new best friend. She would love to be in a household with respectful children and/or other friendly dogs. Shea would love an active home and would probably make a good running companion.

Because Shea is a flight risk homes that do not have a PHYSICAL FENCE are not being considered for Shea. A home that already has a playful confident canine companion is PREFERRED for Shea, although an active home(jogs, LONG walks, and/hikes on a regular basis) would be OK for her too.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
