Rooster is a senior guy who is in need of a loving home for the rest of his life. The groomer who helped this matted little guy get clean and comfortable believes him to be a maltese/poodle mix. Rooster was found wandering on the road by a nice family who has cared for him. They tried to find his owner with no success. Rooster has shown no aggression with children, adults or other pets. He is a sweet little guy who would be happy to warm someone's lap this winter :)
Rooster is up to date with vaccines. He is in good health for his age and is scheduled to have his remaining three teeth removed on November 21. If you would like to give Rooster a loving home for the rest of his life, please apply soon! Your reward will be a warm lap and a lot of happy tail wags.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
