Mila’s name says it all! Russian for “Dear One” there is no better way to describe her. After spending her first five years on a chain, she has quickly decided she wants to give and get lots of love. Mila loves giving kisses and wants to be in the house and with her human. Whether she is in her crate, lying on the couch, going for a ride, going for a walk, waiting for food, or just hanging out watching you-- her tail is wagging.

She does have a few fears and is startled easily by new things in the house. With her human in front of her, she is learning those things aren't so scary. So far, her biggest dislikes are Peanut Butter and walking in water (although she tolerated a bath).

From the 10lb dog that was off leash and ran up to her while on a walk, to the 120lb St. Bernard she went for a walk with, she has been great with all dogs who have been friendly to her. She is fearful of those who bark or growl at her.

Mila, does have a fair amount of energy and seems to be a bit of an athlete, so a home where she will get routine walks and exercise is ideal.

Mila is spayed and up to date with vaccines. She is on heartworm and flea prevention.

Our vet is currently treating Mila for seasonal allergies which have caused some hair loss and itching.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
