Peanut is a 7 year old beagle/Lab mix.  He looks like a mini-yellow lab.  He may look like a lab - but he can howl like a beagle when excited.  :)  He has come to us become his young owner decided he doesn't want him.  Hard to believe, because this is a very special dog. 

Peanut has settled into the foster home perfectly.  He acknowledged the resident cat and then ignored it. He has met all the neighbors, including the kids, and greeted everyone in an appropriate, friendly manner. Peanut is wonderful with other dogs.  When he met some less than friendly dogs in the neighborhood, Peanut promptly and appropriately turned his head and ignored the other dog.

This guy loves to run and play. Peanut has not had a single accident in the house, he loves his crate, and he is the best snuggler.  Peanut walks very nicely on leash and will sit for treats and for his dinner.
 
His foster mom says he may be the best behaved dog she's ever fostered.

For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.
 
We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
