Rescue ~ Rehab ~ Rehome

Skye is a sweet 7 year old red and white piebald Dachshund.  He came to us from a kennel environment and is shy when meeting new people.

Although he is very sweet and non-aggressive, we think he would do best in a quiet home with no small children.  He would especially love a home that would provide lots of love and cuddle time.  He is presently in a foster home with a fenced yard and other dogs and is doing well. Skye had his teeth removed, was neutered and updated on his vaccines, and was pronounced to be in good health by the veterinarian.

Skye has a sweet little face that says “take me home and love me!” Check out the photos of the unique identifier on his back, a number “7”. 

He will need a home that understands where he came from and is willing to provide him some time and patience along with the loving care.

Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. 

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
