Stevie, a sweet and handsome brindle, was found as a stray. He is about 2 years old, appears to be a boxer mix, and is just over 60 pounds.
This smart boy quickly learned sit, down, and stay. He takes treats gently. He loves playing fetch, car rides, and cuddling. He is house trained and will bark to indicate he needs to go out. He does need some work on leash walking.
Stevie seems to prefer the company of smaller dogs over larger ones. The vet reported that he did not react to the office cats. His foster mom recently introduced him to her cats and he seemed to enjoy their company. He has not been around children since he's been in our care.
Stevie is looking for a forever home that will invest some time and give him stability and leadership, things that he apparently did not have before. He is a great companion with so much potential.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
