Mamma Bear is a sweet and affectionate Rottweiler who was abandoned when her less-than-responsible owners had some personal issues.  She is around 5 years old.  When she first came to us, she only weighed 73 pounds and our vet advised she needed to gain 20-25 pounds.  She is now up to 93 pounds and looking and feeling so good with good nutrition and lots of TLC in her foster home.

She is house trained, crate trained, loves car rides, and is playful.  She is very well-mannered and knows sit, shake (both paws!), wait, and down.  She does OK on leash and walks best with a halti. She lived with cats in her former home and is not interested in them at her foster home. She is living with very small dogs and does well with them.  She has not been around children in our care.  She shows no food aggression, even though she obviously went hungry for quite some time.

She is waiting for a rottie-loving home where she will be treated awesomely, like the awesome dog that she is.
