Rocky is a young Boxer Mix who is a perfect medium size at 40 pounds. He is housetrained, energetic and playful, and does well with other dogs with proper introductions. Cats are not-so-fond of his playful energy so felines everywhere would appreciate Rocky going to a home with none of their kind. Rocky does display a fondness for men, but will freely give kisses to anyone willing to accept them. He walks well on the leash and enjoys playing and making new friends at the dog park. His canine foster sisters have taught him to defer to the ladies so he is a gentleman with them.
His foster mom says he is sweet and cuddly soft and affectionate and a joy to have as part of the pack. He has an endearing quality of rolling around playfully at bed time to get the covers just the way he likes them, displaying a joy for life that says he is happy to be alive and sleeping in a bed. He has a silly way about him with a special, unique, friendly demeanor that shines through every day.
Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
