Jax is a very handsome 8 month old chocolate lab.  He is highly active but likes to be near his humans.  After exercising he is always ready for some cuddle time.  Jax is learning manners and basic obedience in his foster home--but like any youngster he sometimes has to be reminded to "mind his manners".  His foster Mom says he is lots of fun and makes a great exercise partner. He is energetic and inquisitive.  He loves to go for walks and is capable of hiking for miles.  He has learned to run along side a bicycle and loves to play in the water.  He has been to dog parks and really enjoyed his time there.

Jax gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, but he hasn't quite learned to be respectful to his "elders".  They do put him in his place when he oversteps the boundaries.  He is crate trained and is 95% house-trained :)  He has had occasional accidents if his people miss his cues.

This boy will be an awesome companion for an active family or individual.  He probably will not do well if he's crated or expected to remain quietly in one place for 8 hours a day.  His new owner must be committed to a daily exercise plan.

If you are looking for a loyal loving companion who will keep up with your athletic side; a companion who will be worth every second you spend teaching him how to be a well mannered companion, then apply for Jax NOW.

Jax is neutered and up to date with vaccines.
